Hey everyone,

I'm Kai - the guy behind Amicu.

It’s great to catch up with someone you care about.

But it's not so easy anymore.

Your contacts are spread over many places. Mixed with people you don’t know. An avalanche of comments, posts, and texts cluttering everything up. It feels like a chore. No time for the joy of meeting up.

And life changes. You move to new places. You change jobs. You travel and meet people, but they're abroad. You join events with cool people. But months of work follow. They stop to appear in feeds and inboxes. Instead of fun reunites relationships fade.

I met people, while traveling, living abroad, and volunteering. Not all are on social media. Plus, who likes the distractions, ads, and privacy issues?

So I made Amicu. It reminds you to catch up.

You decide which people matter. After time reminders show up. Then it's your turn. Meet, call, or be creative.

And your contacts should be no one’s business. With Amicu nothing leaves your device.

That's it. No spam, privacy-invasion, customer relationships, or feeds. Simple and easy.

All features are free besides custom reminders, the time budget and some sorting methods. If you want to support me, Amicu has an auto-renewing premium subscription.

There's a new widget configuration. Daily Suggestions. It's a random selection of people, where it's been a while.
Otherwise there's usability improvements, text changes and bugfixes.

This update is about making things faster and easier:

• Sending the same message to many people like an event invite? Amicu can now open communication apps in a batch. Select a few contacts. Optionally, write a message. And for each contact the main contact app is opened like iMessages, WhatsApp, Telegram or Messenger.
• Contact batch actions. Select some contacts and change their reminders, snooze reminders, and so on.
• Open apps to send a birthday message for all birthday contacts.
• Edit the main contact method. No need to remember what app to use for each contact anymore.
• Adding many contacts at once is clearer and easier
• Simplified app UI with new "More" tab.

Also I fixed some crashes, birthday bugs and more. Your feedback helps to improve Amicu.

- Improved filters
- Select multiple contacts to add, remove, update reminders etc
- Add many contacts without picking or even the complete contact book
- Set contacts as passive (no notifications and not in widgets)
- Set all added contacts to a default interval instead of assigning individual ones
- Option to always set contacts in touch after opening an app via Amicu

Kai 2.0.4 10/30/2020 This update brings advanced filtering (including contact groups) and shortcut automation.

Shortcut automation makes setting contacts in touch way easier. Configure Amicu shortcuts to run, when leaving the flat of friends. After you got a meetup summary email or for other triggers. Time to be creative and explore triggers in the Shortcuts app.

You can now filter and sort contacts in more ways via the top-left filter button.

Thanks for using Amicu! 2.0.3 10/28/2020 Siri shortcuts and new widgets! Set people in touch via Siri. You can even do that automatically now with the shortcuts app for different triggers.

Add widgets for upcoming birthdays, due contacts or people by last contact date in a list. Want all? There's large dashboard widget as well.

And you can export your data. You're in control of your data. Plus bugfixes and usability improvements.
